City pollution zone grows

UP TO 200,000 drivers of older vehicles could pay an extra £12.50 a day to use London’s roads when a low pollution zone expands.

The city-wide ULEZ area begins on August 29.

An estimated 4,000 Londoners die prematurely each year from conditions related to air pollution.
