Don’t desert the north Africans
ONE of the golden rules of betting is: Never rule out the Germans. And it’s rare to see them priced at a whopping 2/1 (Bet365) for any World Cup group game.
But they must overcome the pass masters of Spain to save their World Cup campaign... and that might prove a step too far even for the Germans who have pulled off plenty of great escapes over the years.
Instead we are looking at North Africa for our value. Belgium looked a team in decline against Canada... and Morocco, who were not overawed by Croatia, look a great bet at 3/1 with William Hill.
The Aussies (left) were limited too... and we fancy Tunisia (5/4, Betfred) to bowl them over.
