Comic out..but she has loved doing Strictly
ELLIE Taylor crashed out of the last dance saloon as the ninth celebrity to be kicked off Strictly Come Dancing yesterday.
But the stand-up comic, said it had been “an absolute privilege” to be on the BBC show.
Ellie and partner Johannes Radebe’s fun jive was slated as “messy and lacklustre” by judge Craig Revel Horwood and “heavy and flat-footed” by head judge Shirley Ballas.
The check-shirted pair lost by 10 points to Fleur East who racked up 35 for her steamy rumba in the dance-off.
Ted Lasso actress, Ellie, 38, said: “I never, in a million years, expected to be in for this long and to experience it so fully.
“It’s been an absolute privilege ... and I’ve really, really loved it.”
The married mum-of-one called her dance pro Johannes, “human sunshine”.
And Johannes described her as “one gorgeous person”.
Next week Kym Marsh, who missed a week with Covid, will compete in the quarter-finals against Will Mellor, Hamza Yassin, Molly Rainford, Fleur East and Helen Skelton.
