‘£4.5m Qatar donation to King charity’
KING Charles’s charitable foundation has reportedly agreed to accept millions of pounds in donations from World Cup hosts Qatar.
The Prince’s Foundation will receive £4.5million over the next three years, it was claimed yesterday.
Police are probing the foundation in a “cash for honours” scandal. Qatar has faced condemnation for its human rights record.
The King reportedly made a secret visit to a Prince’s Foundation project at the Qatari-owned Chelsea Barracks in Central London on Wednesday.
The foundation said: “All donations are subject to a due diligence process before they are approved.”
