Kim’s young’un
NORTH Korean tyrant Kim Jong-un celebrates a successful missile launch alongside his smiling daughter.
Believed to be Kim’s second child, Ju Ae, aged nine or 10, was unveiled to the outside world a week ago in state media photographs.
Wearing a long, black coat, she held her father’s arm as the two posed with soldiers who contributed to the launch of the nuclear-capable Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile.
Yesterday, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency mentioned her for the second time, describing her as Kim’s “most beloved” or “precious” child at the launch.
“This is the start of her [Ju Ae] being positioned as a potential successor,” said expert Ankit Panda.
