Queen of the Jungle Jill vows to get back to her coffee shop

- BY MARK JEFFERIES Showbiz Editor @mirrorjeffers

AS Queen of the Jungle, Jill Scott is in line for megabucks deals which will make her a millionaire.

But the down-to-earth Lioness plans to be back serving coffees next week.

Modest Jill, 35, even insists ITV’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was a team game like football – and the celebrity squad were all winners.

She said: “You’re in there as a team. At times, I felt like I was camping with my friends and that was probably the best part about it.

“I know I have been given the crown but the whole team were winners.”

Jill plans to be back brewing up drinks next week at Boxx2Boxx, the Manchester cafe owned by her fiancee Shelly Unitt, despite business and TV deals expected to flood in.

She said: “I’m not going to change who

I am. So it will be about getting round there and thanking everyone.”

Jill is used to being away from home for months at a time for tournaments, but admits it was tough not being able to speak to Shelly.

And after winning the Euros followed by her jungle triumph, Jill’s next plan is for a more personal celebration – her wedding.

She said: “We got engaged two years ago and Covid hit us so I think we do need to get some planning in place.”

But she laughed: “I don’t think there will be a wedding in the jungle.”

Jill also thinks she will appreciate some things that little bit more now. She added: “The friendships I’ve made would take years on the outside.” mark.jefferies@mirror.co.uk
