WALES v ENGLAND: THREE HUGE KEY

- BY JOHN CROSS

Gareth Bale v Harry Maguire

Wales star Bale still carries the hopes of a nation on his shoulders and, even at 33, he has the pace coupled with the experience to stretch defenders. Maguire will be the man to stop him and has put his club problems behind him to play a starring role at this tournament.

Aaron Ramsey v Declan Rice

West Ham midfielder Rice has been earmarked to shield England’s defence and stop Ramsey’s threat as he loves to break forward from midfield. Ramsey, 31, is also into the latter stage of his career and has lost some impact, but will be fired up against England.

Joe Rodon v Harry Kane

Wales defender Rodon knows all about Kane from their time together at Tottenham – and will have his hands full. Rodon, currently on loan at Rennes, has shown promise and his inside knowledge might give him some help against England’s main man.
