Foggy’s reality wrecked
Carl Fogarty clearly hasn’t been keeping up with Love Island.
Upon learning his 28-year-old daughter Claudia is entering the villa, he advised her to “find someone that’s not a d***head” and told her “no sex on TV”. So no doubt the ex-motorbike racer enjoyed watching her enter the South African villa last night, during an episode where Farmer Will and Aussie Jessie felt “stronger” as a couple after spending the “best night ever” together in the Hideaway. Gulp. Although Claudia insists dad Foggy was
“really for” her going on the dating show.
“Dad said he was really proud and to take the opportunity to find someone who is not a d***head, that’s exactly what he said to me,” she laughs.
“Absolutely no sex on TV he said, he hasn’t really watched it before so it’s going to be a bit of a shock. I just said get a blindfold on, shut your eyes, if you don’t like it, turn it off.
“My dad will be proud to watch me, but he will also be nervous.”
Carl won I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in 2014, and passed on his tips for reality TV. “My dad just told me to be myself, he said the one thing you can’t do is hide who you are,” she says. “He said he loves who I am and everyone else will love me.
“My dad wins everything he does but for me it’s not about winning it’s about finding love.”
It might help if they can ride a motorbike, she jokes, adding: “No, in all seriousness he just wants me to find someone that is driven and settled. If I can find someone that my family loves too, that would be amazing.
“I feel ready to settle and find ‘the one’. I’m done with bad boys.”
