Joe is happy to try for No 7 despite what Stacey says
TV star Joe Swash would like wife Stacey Solomon to have another child to add to the six they already share.
Loose Women presenter Stacey, 34, last year had ruled out more family.
But now Ex-EastEnders star Joe, 42, has revealed he is open to another addition – even if parenthood at times leaves him “like a zombie”.
Joe, winner of I’m A Celebrity in 2008, said: “I never thought I’d be sitting here with six kids. So you never know what life’s going to throw at you. But if it does throw another baby at me there could be worse things.”
Joe and Stacey’s family is made up of Harry, 16, Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, four, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle.
Joe said: “The big challenge is that they’re all at different stages. We need to keep an eye on everyone’s needs to make sure they’re all being met.
“It is really hard. You have your moments where you’re tired. You feel like a zombie. But then, you know, they’re your kids, and it’s the most fulfilling job in the world.”
Joe admitted that when it comes to parenting he is very much the good cop.
“We both sing off the same hymn sheet but Stacey has more willpower.
“So sometimes I will give in if they’re driving me mad.”
Joe said that with six kids exotic holidays are out but they love getting about on a budget.
