Joe Lewis 7 Produced one crucial stop down at left post to deny Vrsic in second half but no chance with Maribor goal. Shay Logan 8 Has excelled in Europa League games and terrific again here. Dangerous going forward and crucial interceptions at the back. Ash Taylor 5 Frustrated his team-mates with poor distribution and wasn’t strong enough against Novakovic for Maribor’s away goal. Mark Reynolds 7 Didn’t do a lot wrong at centre-half and unlike Taylor, used the ball well by pinging it up to strikers. Andy Considine 6 Never looks entirely comfortable at left-back, especially when he gets up in support of Hayes on that side. Niall McGinn 7 Hit two volleys off target in first half but kept creating chances with his crossing ability from wide. Ryan Jack 6 Never going to produce killer pass but kept Dons ticking over and even bombed on a couple of times with Shinnie sitting. Graeme Shinnie 7 Broke up a lot of Maribor play by sweeping up in front of his defence. Tigerish in the tackle as well. Jonny Hayes 8 Troubled Slovenians with his dribbling and fired cracking shot wide before slotting home the crucial leveller. Jayden Stockley 7 Proved to be a real handful up front and unlucky not to score with bullet header that Handanovic tipped over. Adam Rooney 8 Held ball up, won headers, linked with Stockley and then teed up Hayes for equaliser in an all-action display. Substitutes Kenny McLean 3 On for Shinnie in middle of the park and hit rasping drive over the bar. Wes Burns 3 Replaced Stockley and tried to use his pace down the side of Maribor defence. Subs not used: Alexander, O’Connor, Pawlett, Wright, Storey. Maribor: Handanovic, Sme, Defendi, Suler, Janza, Vrhovec (Pihler 68), Vrsic (Bajde 84), Tavares, Kabha, Hotic (Bohar 46), Novakovic. Subs not used: Obradovic, Omoregie, Viler, Mertelj. Referee: T Hansen (Norway).
