Struggling Accies will be left Don in dumps

-

ABERDEEN went back to basics on Friday and returned to winning ways.

Fans have questioned boss Derek McInnes’ team selection with Adam Rooney and Niall McGinn not regular starters.

Both were restored to the line up against Motherwell and netted in an exciting 3-1 victory.

A third Irishman Jonny Hayes was superb and if all three start against Hamilton tonight, the Dons should pick up the points.

The Dons are no bigger than 4-9 with Betfred and punters will be reluctant to back them at such small odds.

It’s just one clean sheet in 10 for Aberdeen so a home win and both teams to score at 12-5 with William Hill could be the value bet.

Accies were insipid as they crashed 3-0 at home to 10-man Celtic on Saturday but are capable of scoring.

The other game sees Hearts entertain Kilmarnock with Ian Cathro desperate to notch a first win.

His side have thrown away leads in his last two matches against Partick and Dundee.

A 2-0 advantage became a 3-2 defeat at Dens but there were positives with the Jambos so dominant in the first half. I reckon Cathro will end the drought but again Hearts are pretty short at 8-15 with Betfred.

The big question is, can they keep a clean sheet? If you think the answer is no take Hearts and both to score at 11-5 with BetBright.

I’ve backed Bjorn Johnsen to score first a couple of times and he is 7-2 at Ladbrokes and William Hill. Super Single Hearts & Btts (11-5, BetBright) Daily Double Derby/Brighton
