Beware the day when the sea becomes the sky
SOMETIMES you just have to stop and admire the brutal and beautiful power of nature.
Ryan Sandison did just that when he captured the moment 46ft waves struck Eshaness in Shetland on Monday.
It happened as Storm Conor rolled across Scotland, battering Shetland with gusts of up to 94mph, causing delays to ferries.
Today’s weather is due to be a lot better across the country, fine and clear in most places with temperatures of up to 10C.
The view might not be as great as this one but at least the tiles will stay on the roof.
