Village cars attacked in vandal spree
DRIVERS in a quiet village are counting the cost of a vandalism spree.
Ten cars were attacked in Aberchirder, Banffshire, with the cost of the damage running into thousands of pounds.
It happened between Boxing Day and yesterday. The tyres of the cars were also damaged.
Police asked local drivers to check if their vehicles had been attacked.
A spokesman said: “This type of crime is relatively rare in Aberchirder and we are appealing for information to bring those responsible to justice.
“If anyone has information about these incidents, please contact Police Scotland.”
