RAIL passengers faced delays yesterday after a woman tried to get on to the track between Camelon and Falkirk Grahamston.

Services between Glasgow and Edinburgh were cancelled, delayed or revised after emergency services were called to the incident at 3.10pm.

Trains after 4pm suffered a severe knock-on effect and ScotRail used Twitter to warn customers about the disruption.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital and was in a serious condition.

Trains were back to normal by 7pm. GANGSTER Robert Kelbie has fled his home after it was shot up twice by gunmen in less than three years.

He left suddenly with his family and is believed to have gone to ground in Fife.

A bullet smashed a bedroom window at the house in Ratho Station, Edinburgh, in September. Another shot damaged a porch.

Ex-boxer Kelbie was at home at the time with two women and two children, believed to be his mother, sister and two kids.

He was about to go out, and came within minutes of being caught up in the attack.

The house was also shot at in November 2013. A volley of bullets hit buildings in Kelbie’s compound, which was fortified with spiked railings and CCTV cameras.

There was traffic chaos in the area when police search teams closed the nearby A8 after the attack. It’s believed the gunman escaped on a motorbike.

Locals in Ratho Station were glad to see the back of convicted mortgage fraudster Kelbie, who has been involved in a long-running feud with Edinburgh cocaine baron Mark Richardson.

One former neighbour said: “They up and left very suddenly.

“After everything that has gone on, people are pleased that they’ve moved out. It was frightening when you never knew what could happen here next.”

It’s understood the house in Glasgow Road has been sold.

Kelbie, 33, survived being shot in the back outside an Edinburgh gym in 2010.

He was cleared of attempted murder earlier this year and a serious assault case against him collapsed this month.

Kelbie and Richardson, 29, had a punch-up in front of mourners at a funeral this March.
