Ashleigh Anderson, owner of FACE – Semi Permanent and Cosmetic Make-up Studio, in Glasgow, answers the most Googled beauty questions. HOW DO I SHAPE MY EYEBROWS? Ashleigh said: “If you are unsure about shaping your brows, I recommend you go to see an expert.

“I see many over-plucked brows that won’t grow back.

“I suggest you find someone who is amazing at eyebrow threading. But if you have over-plucked and your brows won’t grow back into a decent shape, I recommend you get semi-permanent tattooed eyebrows.

“We can tattoo a very natural-looking, full, defined brow.” decent brow kit and concealer. I would recommend the Sleek brow kit, £8.49, at Superdrug. This has a small angled brush which is great for creating sharp precise lines.

“First outline the bottom of your brows using the gel, then line the top of your brow. “Start to fill in the rest by following the direction of your hair growth. Don’t be too heavy handed filling in the fronts of your brows so they remain soft. Set the brow with the powder then underline your brow with concealer.” Ashleigh said: “Use surgical spirit. Pour a small amount on clean tissue paper and wipe the brush on it. Repeat this and you will start to see the make-up coming off. It will dry in seconds leaving your brush clean and ready to use.” Ashleigh said: “Prep your skin using moisturiser and primer.

“Take your brush, apply concealer to the area – whether a blemish or under the eyes – and dab it out either using a beauty sponge or your finger tips. This makes sure you get a nice even coverage.” HOW DO I GET RID OF MY UNDER-EYE BAGS? Ashleigh said: “Surprisingly the best remedy is haemorrhoid cream – but make sure you don’t get it in your eyes.

“It tightens puffiness and reduces wrinkles. Some can smell strongly so mix it with moisturiser before applying. And don’t use it long term.”

“Or use a concealer under the eyes. It won’t get rid of bags but will brighten the area.” ● www.facebook.com/ facesemipermanentmakeup
