Just explain to your friend that you don’t want it to affect your friendship and you still want to have time together without your brother being around.

And maybe instead of your friend coming over to your house to see you, go over to hers.

Try to keep your friendship separate as much as you can.

The thing is, you can’t turn round and forbid them to see each other – it’s not going to happen.

I get why you’re put out and a bit jealous but if you can agree on a few boundaries, it might be OK.
