Brendan hopes to finish off a great year at home

- CRAIG SWAN

BRENDAN RODGERS tonight hopes to round off an unblemished domestic home record this season.

Celtic’s clash against Ross County signals the final match of 2016 in Glasgow’s East End.

Since Rodgers’s summer arrival, his side have won 10 out of 10 on home soil and the Hoops boss has savoured life in the job.

He said: “I have loved it. It helps when you are winning but the whole project up here has been very satisfying.

“The beauty of it is that it has only just begun. There is still a great deal we can do with the club. The players, I hope, feel they’re improving.

“The team and supporters feel connected which is important. The directors see a great future here.”
