POLISH KEEPER Artur Boruc has announced his retirement from international football.

The 37-year-old Bournemouth star played 64 times for his country, including three at the 2006 World Cup, and is Poland’s most-capped shotstopper.

But the ex-Celt has found himself as back-up to Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny in recent years.

He said: “It’s not been an easy decision for me and has been one I’ve taken incredibly seriously.” FORMER Scotland and Celtic star Paul Caddis has become Lee Clark’s first signing for Bury.

The 28-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Birmingham in January having made just one appearance this season. He recently saw a deal at Blackburn collapse.

But he admits the chance to work alongside Alan Thompson, the Shakers’ No.2, was key in penning a deal until the summer.

Caddis said: “I know the gaffer well and I was a young lad at Celtic when Thommo was there too so that makes a difference.” ABERDEEN No.2 Tony Docherty will join Gordon Strachan’s Scotland backroom staff ahead of this month’s double header with Canada and Slovenia.

The national team boss has been looking for help to prepare his side for the crucial World Cup qualifier with the Slovenians on Sunday, March 26.

It follows the departure of Andy Watson who has left to take up a technical director role at Al Habsi Football School in Oman. CHELSEA’S Victor Moses has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2021.

The 26-year-old, who started out as a midfielder, has become a key player for the Blues in a wing-back role. ORIENT have been served with a winding-up order over unpaid tax bills and will appear in court next month.

The struggling League Two club will have the case heard at the High Court on March 20 after a petition was presented on February 2.

Orient are already in danger of dropping out of the Football League and face liquidation if they can’t settle their debts to HM Revenue and Customs. STUTTGART star Kevin Grosskreutz is recovering in hospital after suffering a head wound in an attack by a group of youths on a night out. The 28-year-old is expected to make a full recovery.
