Rocks wilt in play-off heat at home to Scorchers
GLASGOW ROCKS were torched 89-75 by Surrey Scorchers last night as Sterling Davis’s side slipped further off the British Basketball League title pace.
The Rocks, who were without Anthony Elechi and Neil Watson, suffered a fourth-quarter collapse in which they were outscored by more than two to one.
Glasgow now trail leaders Leicester by 10 points after back- to-back defeats. In the WBBL Caledonia Pride lost 88-59 to Northumbria.

McInnes, chair of the British Basketball Federation, clocked up more than 170 international appearances. He fought back from 2-1 down against his fellow Englishman to win his first tournament of the season 4-2.
Murphy said: “Judd’s playing to such a high standard every time he plays so I knew I had to bring my A game to stand a chance.”
