LIKE most mums, I’m permanentl­y tired. Not just a bit lethargic but properly knackered. I honestly haven’t slept more than four hours in a row for almost five years. I’ve become an expert at hiding the dark circles under my eyes (Benefit Boi-ing concealer is amazing) and reviving my dull skin with shimmery primers and tons of bronzer.

I’ve tried every sleep tip from lavender pillow sprays and relaxing candles to reading before bed and banning the iPad after 10pm.

Nothing has worked – until this week, when a friend told me to try Olverum bath oil.

I was sceptical but it’s amazing – and I’m not usually a fan of bath oils. The first night I used it, I fell asleep at 10pm and slept right through to 6.30am. I thought it might be a fluke but so it has continued all week.

I feel like a new woman. I’ve got a spring in my step and I’m getting twice the amount of things done in a day that I usually do.

My husband nearly fainted when I served up a home-cooked dinner the other night.

It might not work for everyone but if you’re in need of some seriou shut-eye, it’s definitely worth a try.
