The Hampdenover
GERARD Butler was at Hampden yesterday and the usually well-turned out A-lister copped some flak for his appearance.
Butler, 47, watched as Celtic beat Rangers 2-0.
But he caught the eye of fellow fans for his “rough” look.
The Celtic Twitter account shared a photo of the Paisleyborn star, saying: “Hope you’re enjoying the game, Gerard.”
Social media users soon suggested he wasn’t at his best.
One said: “Gerard looks like he only woke up two minutes before the match.”
Another asked whether he was morphing into a Zach Galifianakis film character, saying: “Gerard Butler or Alan from The Hangover?”
A third said: “Big night last night? Looking worse for wear at the game.”
Butler – who is proudly teetotal – is in Scotland to film thriller Keepers.
Rod Stewart, 72, was also at the game with his son Aiden, six. The star will headline a gig in honour of the Lisbon Lions at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro in May.
