AND KRIS’S FIVE YEARS OF FUNDRAISING

and she ended up staying with her for the entire labour.

Lisa said: “That is the most rewarding moment I’ve had in the whole time here.

“It was amazing to help Heather and be there for someone going through the labour.”

While she has taken on various different projects, including producing indie Scottish films such as R Paul Wilson’s new thriller Isolani, which is out later this year, it’s her charity work that she loves best and has found most fulfilling.

Other highlights have been seeing Kris score a late penalty to take Celtic into the Champions League last 16 and the club’s historic win against Barcelona, which they celebrated for two days.

But she also stood by her man when he’s not been playing – either through injury or not being able to force his way into Brendan Rodgers’s treblewinning side.

Lisa said: “The low bit is watching the man you love not doing the thing he loves the most.

“Kris has not been involved this year but the way he speaks about Brendan Rodgers is with nothing but respect – and he says he is one of the most inspirational people he has met.”

The family were given a special send-off by Rodgers during the club’s last league game of the season.

The Celtic boss singled out Kris for a special bow before the crowd and live TV audience – and name-checked Lisa – before the player and his kids enjoyed a lap of honour on the pitch.

Lisa said: “When Brendan spoke so warmly of Kris and myself, I was away crying in the reception.

“I was so proud of Kris and the really special send-off he got. I could see him chewing his lip, he was fighting back the tears.

“He might not have played this season but in the first five years he was very much involved, and I don’t think that will ever be forgotten.”
