Hiddleston got hands on for role
ACTOR Tom Hiddleston has revealed how he got into character for a new role – with a massage from director Nick Park.
The Avengers and Night Manager star plays villainous Lord Nooth in Aardman Animations’s latest comedy, Early Man.
And one scene sees the baddie unknowingly massaged by a pig, whose grunts are voiced by Park.
Hiddleston yesterday revealed that Park kneaded his shoulders in the studio to get his voice effects right.
He said: “Nick actually massaged me, to get that sound. It was odd... more physical than I expected.”
Park said: “About 10 takes were unusable because of the laughing.”
The film also stars Eddie Redmayne and Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams.
