THE search for life on Mars is to be supported by new UK Space Agency grants worth more than £3million.
Government money will also go to scientists looking into ice at the Moon’s poles.
Another £230,000 will fund International Space Station gravity experiments to help pave the way for future space exploration.
Science minister Jo Johnson said: “We are reinforcing our position as a world leader in these important, exciting areas.”
