Strictly Richard’s Christmas album
STRICTLY Come Dancing hopeful Reverend Richard Coles is returning to his musical career after 30 years.
The ex-Communards member will release a collection of his favourite festive tracks performed by Aled Jones, Placido Domingo and a number of choirs.
Richard, 55, was a choirboy before he had hits beside Jimmy Somerville with Don’t Leave Me This Way and Never Can Say Goodbye. His new release includes We Three Kings, O Holy Night and We Wish You A Merry Christmas, and will be released on December 1.
The musician-turnedpriest will this weekend perform in the moviethemed round of Strictly with professional dance partner Dianne Buswell – on BBC One at 6.35pm.
