Stevie a top tip for Killie job
STEVE CLARKE is red-hot favourite for the Kilmarnock manager’s job after a flood of bets were placed on him succeeding Lee McCulloch.
He has applied for the post and is odds-on with some betting firms.
Clarke has been out of work since a caretaker spell in charge of Aston Villa last
year and is keen on the Rugby Park post.
The 56-year-old ex-Scotland cap had spells in charge of West Brom and Reading after No.2 roles at Newcastle, Chelsea, West Ham and Liverpool.
Other applicants include Stefan Effenberg, Jorge Costa, Mixu Paatelainen and Jim McIntyre.
