Robinson’s in until 2020

MOTHERWELL boss Stephen Robinson has handed the Steelmen a boost after penning a new deal until 2020.

The 42-year-old took over the reins at Fir Park back in March of this year with his remit to keep the team in the league.

He succeeded and Well have made a positive start to the new campaign with 10 wins from their first 14 matches with the team sitting fifth and in the Betfred Cup semi-finals.

His initial contract had just over six months left, but the Northern Irishman has put pen to paper on an extended deal.
