A WOMAN employed on Harvey Weinstein’s first film has alleged he exposed himself to her.

Paula Wachowiak, who worked as the disgraced film mogul’s intern on the horror movie The Burning in 1980, also claimed he joked about the harassment afterwards.

Paula, 62, from New York, said the incident happened in a hotel room.

She said: “When I got into the room I realised that he was holding a hand towel around his waist.”

Paula, who was 24 at the time, said Weinstein then took the folder she was carrying and dropped his towel, leaving him naked in front of her.

“He sat on the bed with the folder over his groin and pointed to cheques and asked me why we were paying for this or that,” she added.

Another of Weinstein’s accusers, actor Lysette Anthony, returned to work on the soap Hollyoaks yesterday, insisting she wanted to carry on as normal.

Lysette, 54, has gone to police to claim the film boss stalked her and allegedly raped her in the 80s.

A source close to Lysette said: “Bosses told her she could have time off if she needed to but Lysette was certain she was going into work.

“She isn’t going to let Weinstein ruin any more of her life.”

Metropolitan Police are now investigating five allegations involving Weinstein, sources have confirmed, dating back to the late 1980s.

Meanwhile, French president Emmanuel Macron is moving to strip Weinstein of the Legion D’Honneur – the highest decoration in France.

Weinstein has “unequivocally denied” any allegations of non-consensual sex after three female actors said he had raped them in an article in The New Yorker.
