JOHN REID IN 2010, Reid admitted the culpable homicide of Simon San, 40, who he killed with a single punch.

Reid was released after serving just three years of his five-year term but was locked up again in 2014 for breaking his parole and again last year for housebreak­ing.

In August, he admitted punching Louise Ferguson repeatedly on the head in Muirhouse Gardens, Edinburgh, on March 1.

He also admitted robbing Michael Glancy at knifepoint at his home in the city’s Gibson Terrace on March 9.

Judge Lord Burns jailed Reid for a further five years and four months. MICHAEL ROBERTS ROBERTS was also involved in the killing of Simon San and admitted stealing Simon’s car keys and phone.

Roberts is currently serving time for assisting Reid during the robbery of Michael Glancy in March.

The court heard the pair pushed their way into the victim’s flat armed with a bread knife and took £250.

Roberts was handed a three-year jail sentence for his role. CRAIG VALLANCE VALLANCE was given a 64-month custodial sentence for an armed raid on Muirhouse Post Office in Edinburgh on January 28, 2011.

The 24-yar-old thug is currently serving a 54-month sentence imposed at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in April for assault and robbery.

The court heard he and two other men robbed West Granton Community Store on December 2 last year.

Police said they showed “absolutely no regard” for the welfare of the staff members during the robbery. LEE RIDGWAY RIDGWAY’S past offences include hitting golf balls on to a busy Edinburgh dual carriagewa­y, for which he was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in 2013.

In November last year, Ridgway, 25, took to Facebook to share gruesome pictures of his wounds, right, sustained after a machete attack.

Police said there had been a mass fight but Ridgway and another man found injured were not cooperatin­g with inquiries. JORDAN SKACHILL DUBBED the “Red Baron”, Jordan Skachill, 22, is a notorious bike thief and joyrider.

He was part of a gang of north Edinburgh youths who caused chaos on the roads in 2014.

Last November, he was jailed for three years after he admitted domestic housebreak­ings and thefts of motor vehicles in the west of Edinburgh.
