We’ll sue club for Collins acid attack agony

Devastated pals claim they were failed by security at venue where thug burnt them

VICTIMS of an acid attack plan to sue the nightclub where it happened.

Around 20 people reported injuries after scumbag Arthur Collins – the former boyfriend of reality TV star Ferne McCann sprayed it across the dancefloor.

Several are taking legal action against Mangle E8.

One victim alleges the London club and its staff did not know how to deal with such attacks. Lauren Trent, 22, said: “I had to grab the bouncer and show him my bubbling neck before he’d believe something had gone on. Then no one knew what to do.”

Pal Sophie Hall, 21, suffered burns to her face, neck and arms. In tears, she told Good Morning Britain yesterday: “We’re still getting over it.” Solicitor Ayesha Nayyar, representing two victims, blasted the club.

She said: “Checks on entry were grossly inadequate. A bottle of acid should never have made it into the club.”

Collins, 25, was convicted on Monday over the Easter attack and will be sentenced next month. Police have worked with Mangle E8 to tighten security. The club, in Hackney, said: “We’re satisfied that security arrangements were more than adequate.”
