SERGIO AGUERO was taken to hospital then later discharged after fainting in the dressing room during Argentina’s defeat by Nigeria.

The Manchester City striker – who suffered a rib injury in a taxi crash in September – scored to put his side 2-0 up in the first half.

But Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi scored twice as Nigeria fought back to win 4-2 in Russia.

Argentina boss Jorge Sampaoli said of Aguero: “He got dizzy and had to leave.”
