SCOTT TANSER is ready to seize his opportunity to shine for St Johnstone.

With regular left-back Brian Easton sidelined by a knee injury, the summer signing will get a run in the Perth side’s starting line-up.

Tanser is braced to handle Hibs flying machine Martin Boyle on Saturday.

He said: “It’s unfortunate Easty is injured but that’s football. You get chances when people drop out so you just have to try to grab it.”
