McGhee can reach 1000 club
MARK McGHEE is closing in on a highly select group of bosses in English football who have managed over 1000 games.
The former Scotland No.2 took on his 10th job this week at Barnet in a coaching career stretching back 26 years.
McGhee has been in charge for 952 games at eight clubs and is on course to smash the 1000 barrier next season if he is still in charge of the struggling English League Two side.
The Scot has managed Reading, Leicester, Wolves, Millwall, Brighton, Motherwell twice, Aberdeen, Bristol Rovers and now the Bees.
