WITH her cool pixie crop and amazing ice-blue eyes, it’s no wonder that Emma Willis was chosen by Eylure to collaborate on a false lash collection.

And the TV presenter was thrilled to be asked.

She said: “I’ve been wearing lashes for about 10 years, but I’d never really designed anything before, especially not a lash.

“I jumped at the chance, but I was also quite nervous, because I didn’t want it to go wrong.”

The 41-year-old was given free rein by the brand, coming up with a trio of designs.

Speaking at the launch event at a swanky London hotel, she revealed: “They’ve given me full control and amazing guidance.

“We had lots of prototypes and kept tweaking them until I got them exactly right. So it’s incredible to see them for the first time, all packaged up.”

As a former model turned TV presenter, Emma has worked with make-up artists for years.

She said: “I think the biggest tip I’ve taken is ‘less is more’.

“It’s easy to keep piling it on – but sometimes you need to stop, take a step back and say, ‘I’ve got enough on right now.’

“That, and learning how to put lashes on. That is a right old skill.

“Use tweezers on one end and a finger on the other, that’s how you get them on the best. And let the glue go tacky before you put them on your eye; let it dry a bit.”

As mum to three children with husband Matt Willis of Busted fame, Emma doesn’t have time for a lengthy make-up routine in the morning. But she tries to make time for a quick skin zhuzh-up after she’s got the kids ready. She said: “I make sure I leave myself 10 minutes. “I’ll have the quickest shower in the world, probably not wash my hair. Then just make sure my skin is done. Cleanse it, tone it, moisturise it, and I’m out the door.” Emma also treats herself to a relaxing facial once a month and is partial to a rather pricey day cream.

We asked the bubbly beauty for her five can’t-livewithout products, and here is what she picked. weight one, a mid-weight one and then a slightly heavier one.

“There are also extra corners, so you can take any of the lashes from day to night.

“I’m not picky, I’ll take any of the three. I just need to have more lash than I have naturally.”
