CSABA LASZLO has challenged Dundee United to stand up to Livingston – but insisted they won’t change their own style.

The Tangerines head for second-top Livi for tomorrow night’s crunch Championship clash.

David Hopkin’s men have earned a reputation for not taking any prisoners since coming up from League One.

Laszlo’s men, who trail leaders St Mirren by 14 points but have three games in hand, hope to breathe new life into their faltering title bid with a win in the televised clash.

But Laszlo is adamant they won’t ditch their normal passing game just to counter the threat of opponents still buzzing from their 4-1 victory over Saints last weekend.

Laszlo said: “It will be a really difficult game because they are a physical side.

“They might not always play very nice football but they are effective.

“We won’t change our style but we just have to make sure we match that physical aspect and play our own game as well.”

United are gearing up for a crucial spell which sees them welcome Queen of the South then St Mirren to Tannadice after their match with Livi.

Laszlo said: “We have 14 games to go and the table is still very tight.

“We have 42 points still to try and collect. I don’t like doing the maths but my favourite number just now is three points every game.”
