Don’t ignore abuse
ANNIE Brown stated it is not anti-Semitic to abhor Israeli oppression of Palestinians.
She accuses the State of Israel of killing Palestinians with “impunity”, including 18 killed when taking part in last week’s demonstrations.
What Ms Brown failed to report is that the purpose of the demonstrations is aimed at forcing Israel to accept millions of Palestinian “refugees” as a first step towards turning Jews into a minority in their own country.
The demonstrations are not about improving the living conditions of the Palestinians, nor is it about finding ways to solve the “humanitarian” and “economic” crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinians’ living conditions would be improved if Egyptians opened the Rafah border crossing and allowed them to leave and other Arabs to help them.
The Palestinians continue to live in refugee camps because they have been prevented from settling in the countries they now live.
They are being kept in camps to act as political pawns against the State of Israel. They are being exploited by Hamas leaders whose bank balances are bulging with funds siphoned from humanitarian aid destined for the Palestinians. It’s most surprising that Ms Brown is not protesting about the way the Palestinians in Gaza are being mistreated and abused by Hamas.
