MAN BY MAN
JON McLAUGHLIN 6 Hearts keeper helpless with goal from Dos Santos but can be pleased with couple of stops, although kicking to wide areas wasn’t always so accurate.
STEPHEN O’DONNELL 6 Killie full-back is no Cafu but there was a determination and diligence in his defending that should keep him around McLeish’s squad even if not as first pick.
JACK HENDRY 5 Young Hoops defender was caught ballwatching for the opener. He won’t face quality like this every week but was drawn out of position on a few occasions.
SCOTT McKENNA 7 Rose to challenge of captain’s armband and had to be reassuring presence at times, organising, plugging gaps and bellowing orders. Stood strong.
GRAEME SHINNIE 5 Back in his old position, he never looked comfortable. It’s midfield or nothing for the Dons skipper – it might be nothing.
DYLAN McGEOUCH 6 Time and again looked up to make a pass only to find support thin on the ground. There were times he was swamped but he never hid.
KENNY McLEAN 4 Much expected of Norwich midfielder but he failed to deliver. Sloppy in possession and never on ball often enough to create and link in final third.
CALLUM PATERSON 4 Like McLean, game passed him by. One early shot apart was rarely around opposition box. Expected to push forward but too often outnumbered.
JOHNNY RUSSELL 6 Looked uneasy early on but most creative force as game went on and delivered a delightful cross from which McBurnie almost prospered.
RYAN CHRISTIE 3 Had a stinker on the left. Poor defensively which put Shinnie under pressure and lacked composure in attack. In fairness not his usual role.
OLI McBURNIE 5 Did well to make space for the header that hit the post but too often left isolated, chasing fruitless balls down lonely channels.
