But Love Isle Scot misses out on hunk
LOVE Island’s Laura Anderson says she joined the mile high club – but not when she was working.
The 29-year-old from Stirling used to work as a flight attendant with Emirates airline.
The first class cabin crew member now lives in Dubai. In the series’s first challenge last night, facts were read out about the islanders.
Laura’s excess baggage was she had joined the club – slang for people who have had sex when on a flight.
Looking embarrassed, she said in the Beach Hut: “I was a passenger with my boyfriend.”
There was more trouble in paradise for Laura when the boy she fancied, gym-owner Adam Collard, 22, didn’t pick her.
He was given the task of breaking up a couple and on Monday’s episode Laura, 29, had admitted she fancied him rather than Wes Nelson, who she’d been paired with.
But in last night’s show, Adam chose Kendall Rae-Knight, who was paired with Niall Aslam.
Niall is now at risk of being booted off the island if a girl doesn’t choose him.
Later in the Beach Hut, Adam said: “It’s Love Island and I get what I want. I wanted her.”
Meanwhile, last year’s finalist Olivia Attwood called Laura out for her copycat style. Yesterday, she told Capital Breakfast in London: “When she went in, she was wearing the same outfit as when I went in – the pink bikini and the denim shorts,” Olivia also noticed Laura put her hair up and wore darkrimmed glasses in the Beach Hut and joked: “I feel like I need protection. She’s got my hair.” Two new girls – Georgia Steel, 20, and Rosie Williams, 26 – were teased at the end of the show last night and will join the 11 singles already looking for love in tonight’s show.
