I was worried it would be tepid by the time we ate it six hours later but it was tender, succulent and perfectly hot.

I was keen to try out the bread-maker function. It does most of the proving (rising) in the machine so you can just put it on and leave it. The result was OK but rather pale.

I also made “fiery beef chilli” and this was a triumph.

If you want a slow cooker with extras this could be it. settings and simply lift the lid to check on your food.
