A SCOTS prostitute was ordered to be deported from the US after she was found guilty of having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Sarah McGill could have been jailed for the offence in Orlando, Florida. But she cut a deal with prosecutors so she was let off with five years’ probation.

As part of the deal, she was ordered to leave the country immediately.

The high-class hooker, who claimed to be a hypnotherapist in Edinburgh, had sex with the virgin boy at a hotel in Orlando in April. He paid her £339 for her services.

He had found her profile on Quora.com, which listed McGill under the name Sophie Belle, and texted her to set up the liaison.

McGill, 28, claimed she didn’t know the boy was under age. She denied lewd or lascivious battery – known as statutory rape in the UK – and was due to stand trial next month.

But at the Orange County courthouse in Orlando on Wednesday, a judge adjudicated her guilty as a sex offender.

In a police interview after she was arrested, McGill, originally from Galashiels, Selkirkshire, said she had been travelling across the US on a sightseeing trip.

When it was put to her that she was paid hundreds of dollars an hour to sleep with men, she said: “There is truth in that.”

McGill sobbed during the interview. Of the boy being under age, she said: “I swear I didn’t know’. She added: “I never had any ill intention. I’m just a very down-toearth person.”
