CLARKE: REFS HAVE DECIDED 60 PER CENT

STEVE CLARKE claims referee calls have decided 60 per cent of Kilmarnock’s league clashes – but insists he’s not on a “crusade”.

The Killie boss was charged by the SFA this month for criticisin­g the disciplina­ry process after Gary Dicker lost an appeal over a red card Willie Collum dished out against Hearts.

dismissed in Killie’s 2-0 win at Pittodrie, while Clarke claimed Hibs got a penalty as his side were denied a similarly soft claim in last week’s defeat at Easter Road.

The Killie boss revealed he has yet to speak to SFA refs chief John Fleming over what he feels are poor decisions going against his team – besides speaking out in an open Press conference.

Clarke, who will have his hearing on October 25, said: “Out of the games we’ve played, three have been decided by refereeing decisions. That’s 60 per cent – two against us and one in our favour. That’s not correct.

“I’ve not spoken to John Fleming and that’s probably why I’m being hauled up. I did speak to him, I spoke to him here.

“I don’t really have any plans to speak to him. I’m not here on a crusade, I’m not trying to change.

“If everyone works together we’ve got a chance to change but I don’t know if we’re doing that.
