A 27-year-old female cyclist was attacked as she pedalled on an Edinburgh cycle path.
The incident – on a route that runs across the city’s Roseburn Terrace – happened between 5.35am and 6am on Monday, September 10 and left the woman extremely distressed.
Detective Sergeant David Brady said: “We have received calls from local residents and others who utilise the cycle path. The information is being progressed by the dedicated inquiry team.
“The public are also asked to come forward if they recognise the man pictured in the e-fit. We believe he may be able to assist with our inquiries.”
