IPhone users are left with flat feeling

-

USERS of the new iPhone claim models of the device have a bug which stops them from charging when plugged in.

Some owners say the £1350 phones will not charge when in “sleep” mode and only work if the screen is turned on and the device “woken up”.

Apple have not commented on the issue, which comes after claims that the new camera system in the XS and XS Max was “beautifying” photos.

YouTube user Lewis Hilsenteger, host of the channel Unbox Therapy, said selfies had been subject to “more aggressive skin-smoothing”. RANGERS legend Nacho Novo followed in the footsteps of David Beckham yesterday – by walking free from court on a driving rap. Novo, who was being prosecuted under his full name – Ignacio Gomez Novo – was due to appear at Paisley’s Justice of the Peace Court to face a charge of stopping in a controlled BY RORY CASSIDY area in his blue BMW. He had been accused of committing the driving offence at “the puffin pedestrian crossing at Busby Road, Clarkston” in March.

The retired Spanish striker, of East Kilbride, called on the services of road traffic expert Terry Gallanagh – who got former Celtic star Aiden McGeady cleared of a speeding charge in 2010.

And within minutes of speaking to Gallanagh about his case, it was dropped – after the lawyer noticed that prosecutors had bungled the case.

Gallanagh claimed they had not served paperwork on time – the same as in the speeding case against Beckham last week – leading to Novo being cleared.

Former England captain Beckham, 43, escaped punishment for speeding in London in his £160,000 Bentley because the police letter about the charge got lost in the post.

A Crown Office spokesman said they could revisit the Novo case if new evidence comes forward.

He said: “It is the duty of the Crown to keep cases under review and after full and careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, the Procurator Fiscal decided that there should be no further criminal proceedings at this time.

“The Crown reserves the right to proceed in the future should further evidence become available.”
