JO CAN GO SO FAR

- BY GARRY OWEN

JO BINNEY (3.45) can maintain Irish handler John McConnell’s winning streak on October Raceday at Ayr.

The Epaulette filly built on some encouraging runs in hot Curragh maidens when just failing to catch Military Hill on her handicap bow at Hamilton.

That form is working out well and this unexposed three-yearold can open her account with further progress expected.

Linda Perratt’s LAOISE (2.10) rates a value bet in the opening Racing UK Nursery. The juvenile was a fair second in a Leicester seller on her last run for Richard Hannon and her new trainer can eke out more progress over a mile.

BUONARROTI (2.40) can give his rivals the brush-off in the William Hill Handicap.

Declan Carroll’s stayer likes this venue and is well treated up in trip after his good third behind Handsome Bob over 1m 5f here last time. JEFFREY HARRIS (3.15) is the name to remember in the trappy Weatherbys App Handicap.

Jim Goldie’s gelding cosily dismissed Kinloch Pride in a Musselburgh sprint and can follow up if handling the softer ground. FALMOUTH LIGHT (4.20) can shine for Dumfries handler Iain Jardine. The three-year-old ran a blinder when third to Hajjam over course and distance. David O’Meara’s DAAWY (4.55) can complete a hat-trick in the Hamilton Handicap. The gelding was better than ever slamming Esprit De Baileys at Haydock last week and can go in again off an unchanged mark.

ZORAVAN (5.25) can kick off a double for Keith Dalgleish in the apprentices’ handicap.

The five-year-old has a decent record here and remains on an attractive mark after his close fourth to Newmarket Warrior.

The Carluke handler can then claim the lucky last thanks to CANADIAN GEORGE (5.55). The three-year-old finished third to Power Sail over track and trip last time and can build on that off a workable mark.

John Gosden’s stars Enable and Cracksman headline a 22-strong entry for Sunday’s Arc at Longchamp.

Andre Fabre’s Waldgeist, Cloth Of Stars, Talismanic and Kitesurf head the home defence while Leger hero Kew Gardens leads Aidan O’Brien’s squad. Leading fancy Sea Of Class will be supplemented tomorrow by William Haggas.
