354 mi­grants res­cued off Spain coast

THREE mi­grants were found dead yes­ter­day and 354 have been res­cued off the coast of Spain.

The Span­ish coast­guard plucked the sur­vivors from nine dinghies.

Spain has be­come the main en­try point for those flee­ing Africa for a bet­ter life in Europe as Italy’s pop­ulist govern­ment refuse to ad­mit res­cue boats.

A to­tal of 35,218 mi­grants have en­tered Spain by sea so far this year.
