Woman, 38, dies as car strikes wall
BY CHARLIE GALL A WOMAN died after her car hit a wall at the entrance to Donald Trump’s Aberdeenshire golf resort.
Four police cars, an ambulance and a fire unit were scrambled to Trump International Golf Links at Menie, near Balmedie.
Police confirmed the 38-year-old driver of a black Volkswagen Golf died from her injuries in the crash on Saturday.
The route was closed to allow collision investigators to examine the scene.
Police in Aberdeenshire are also investigating a crash which left a motorcyclist, 19, seriously injured.
It happened on the B994 Kintore to Kemnay road near Upper Cottown at 5.40pm on Saturday.
The scooter rider was yesterday in a serious condition in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
