MAKING A MARK

THE number of new trademarks for craft beers has increased by a fifth to a record high of more than 2300.

Breweries are launching more product lines to satisfy consumer demand for limited edition beers, said law firm RPC.

Ciara Cullen, of RPC, added: “The enormous range of products now available means that beer brands are likely to overlap.”
