HUNDREDS of thousands of protesters marched through London at the weekend, demanding a referendum on the final Brexit deal.

The demonstration was a hot topic online.

Charlie Ross said: “The margin of the referendum was small. Why should almost half the population lose their rights and be at the mercy of the UK Government who do not rule these lands fairly?”

Darren Dooley added: “Good, this is proof we live in a democratic country and long may it continue”.

Peter Chrystal said: “The Tories sold Brexit on lies and haven’t delivered what they said they would. Anyone with common sense can see it’ll be a disaster if it goes ahead.”

However, Scott Jack hit back and said: “People love the UK for their democracy, yet when it is actually put in place, people complain!”

Colin Condie added: “It doesn’t matter if you voted to leave or stay. We live in a democracy so it’s been decided that the vote was to leave. Deal with it.”
