Abuse is hard Pil for Del to swallow but he won’t quit
DEREK ADAMS won’t quit as Plymouth boss despite suffering abuse from “yobbish” supporters.
His men were booed off and coins were reportedly thrown as the atmosphere turned “poisonous” at the end of Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Burton Albion.
Fans are now calling for ex-Ross County boss Adams’s head after just one league win in 14 games left the Pilgrims rooted to the bottom of League One.
Adams said: “No, I won’t be stepping down. There are individuals showing a yobbish feeling towards me and the team.
“We’re trying our best. They’re showing a real lack of class and not helping.”
