Gers end away-day blues but only after scoring late

STEVEN GERRARD admits Hamilton scared the life out of ropey Rangers as they finally ended their away-day blues.

The Ibrox men won on the road in the league for the first time since February but their manager admits they were underwhelm­ing in Lanarkshir­e. Rangers needed three goals in the last seven minutes, including two penalties from skipper James Tavernier, with five points now separating the top six sides. Steven Boyd threatened a shock after his late wonder goal cancelled out Ryan Kent’s first-half opener.
